What you require

In order to process ApplePay payments for you, it is necessary that you observe a few important points.

To set up an Apple MerchantID, please use the Computop Paygate Documentation.

Testing the ApplePay integration

By default Apple provides test cards for the test system, which can only be used via Computop Paygate simulation.
If you use the test cards without Paygate simulation, the downstream acquiring system rejects the request, as there is no downstream banking system for the test cards.

  • Simulation mode
    With the help of the following option you can simulate payments via Computop Paygate. Please pass the following value in the OrderDesc parameter.
    Example

    OrderDesc=Test:0000

    oder

    OrderDesc=Test:0305
    The example with the value "0000" simulates a successful transaction. For example, if you pass the error code "0305", you simulate a failed transaction. This means that if you send the corresponding error code, the payment also receives the required status and Paygate reports this back to your system. Please always transfer the last 4 digits of the error code.

What we require

In order to set up the payment method ApplePay in our system, please provide the following information:

  • Apple-MerchantID
  • Computop MID
  • Country
  • Company name
  • Contact person
  • Email

In return, you will receive a certificate application from Computop. After uploading the application to Apple you will receive your certificate from Apple. Please send this certificate to helpdesk@computop.com, so that we can store it in our system.
