In order to process PayU payments for you, it is necessary that you observe a few important points.

Delayed Capture

If you wish to delay the capture, please note that this type of submission is only possible for credit card brands in Brazil. The Hipercard card brand is excluded from this and cannot generally be debited with a delay.

 

Refunds and Reversals

Refunds by credit (credit.aspx) or reversals (reverse.aspx) to the customer are only possible for credit card payments (there is no country specific limitation). For the crediting process, please note that a submitted credit is first answered with a technical "OK" at the Paygate. It may then be possible that you will receive a separate notification within 5 days. If this is the case, the credit was not processed successfully. If you do not receive another notification within 5 days, the credit has been processed successfully.

 

What we require

In order to set up the payment method PayU in our systems, we need the following data from you:

Account data from your PayU backend

You should have separate account data for each country:

• Country
• MerchantID
• AccountID
• API Login
• API Key

Preferred pay methods

Please let us know which payment methods/countries you will implement:

• PayU-Webcheckout
  In case of this payment option, the customer will be redirected to a PayU checkout page where he/she can select the following two payment methods as well as bank transfer (only available in Chile) to make a payment.
  • Countries supported: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Panama
  • Paygate payment URL: PayULatAm.aspx
    
    
• PayU-Cards
  If you want the customer to be offered only the credit/debit card payment method, you can use this type of transaction submission.
  • Countries supported: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Panama
  • Paygate payment URL: PaySSL.aspx or direct.aspx or Paynow.aspx
    
    
• PayU-Cash Payments
  If you want the customer to be offered only the payment method Cash Payments, you can use this type of transaction submission.
  • Countries supported: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru
  • Paygate payment URL: CashPayment.aspx
